Furry Fridays
"I'll see you at 'Bears'."
How many times has that been said in this Harbour City of ours? They're talking about our regular Bar Night, "Furry Friday" at the Oxford Hotel.
It's the place to catch up with your Bear Buddies - all in the one place. Not only is it the perfect place for a quiet bite to eat on the outside deck before 9pm, it's also how dozens of bears choose to wind down after a busy week at work. Others make it the launch pad for a weekend to remember with the best beary DJs from 9.30pm in the main bar.
Buses and taxis are plentiful, so you can leave the car at home. And as an added bonus, Harbour City Bears has a Club Representative in attendance from approximately 9pm to around 11pm, or sometimes later. You can join the club, renew memberships, get helpful information about Sydney. Buy a drink for your Club Rep too. But be careful ... he bites!

 Bears on Sunday
The Lord Roberts Hotel and Harbour City Bears bring you "Bears on Sunday" each week from 4pm.
Furry fun, chilled music - chat with your mates and meet some new ones at our new regular beary social event.
The pubs runs a weekly HCB Members Draw - you must be there to win or the cash prize rolls over.
Sunday bar prices and free bar snacks, so join us and chill-out on the sundeck at the Lord Roberts - with discount jugs of beer for HCB members.

ChunkyChunky is our dance party for Beefy Blokes, Furry Studs, Cute Cubs and Hot Daddies. Started in 2009, it is now Sydney's number one bear dance party featuring the finest local and overseas dance music DJs.
Famous for its chunky men and chunky music the next party is scheduled for:

Bear Essentials 16Our Bear Essentials festival is now the largest Bear festival in the Southern Hemisphere.
In 2012 we're promising it'll be "A Whole New Ball Game" with new events, new DJs, new venues and new ideas running from February 11th to March 4th.

Bear pride 2012Our winter festival, Bear Pride, is now established as a must do event on any bear or cub's calendar.
Following the amazing success of Bear Pride in 2010 and 2011 it will be back bigger and better
– running for 5 days from August 1st 2012.
